Christmas Tree !!!

Well, we went to Klucks and got our Christmas Tree last Sunday. It was freezing, not like last year when we only wore sweatshirts. Of course Jon and I argued about what kind to get...I always like the big fat ones that barely fit in the living room and he wanted a tall and skinny one (boring). So finally we let Ty pick, as usual it was the first one he saw. We (Jon and Ty) chopped it down and we brought it home. It's a perfect fit. The only problem we have now is Ty waking up in the morning wanting to know if Santa put his presents under the tree. It's going to be a long 3 weeks until Christmas morning.

Santa, Santa, Santa

Ty got to Santa, finally, after a day of talking about him. He told him he wanted Hungry, Hungry Hippos and Choo Choos for Christmas, the only problem is that Ty now thinks Santa should come tonight, everynight that is. A month is going to be a long wait for him.

New Baby Photos!

Well, this was our third ultrasound of many it sounds like. I thought I would share the awesome photos they gave us of our little guy. He was 2 lbs 5 oz, estimated, on 11/15/07. I have to get an ultrasound every 2-3 weeks to check his growth and I go to the hospital for a non-stress test every week. They are really keeping a close eye on things this time, it's a lot of work and appointments, but well worth it in the end I'm sure of it.

Halloween 2007!

Well, we had 3 Halloweens this year. One, we went to "Ghost Train" at Huckleberry Railroad. Ty got to ride a real train for the first time, he was so excited. Second, we went to Halloween at the Zoo with Hunter, Ethan, Hope and Luke...more candy. Third, we trick-or-treated at Grandma's house with all the Cousins, including Cole and Logan. Ty was a smelly skunk and kept 'spraying' everyone with his tail. Uncle Jeff carried him around on his shoulders while Jon got to carry big ole Luke on his, we are not used to 10 extra pounds since Ty is so little. That night he asked if we could do Halloween again the next day, luckly he forgot after a day or two.

GO GREEN AND WHITE!

We spend our Saturdays watching the Green and White... Go State! (Who are now 4-0). These are pictures of a recent game that we went to with Grandma and Papa and Cousin Cole. We had a lot of fun and did a lot of cheering. Ty was so tired on the way home that he fell asleep eating a twinkie.

A look at the new baby...

Here's a look at our new baby! I went to a specialist this week for my ultrasound because of everything that's happened and also because I was born with a cleft palate. We had a 4-d ultrasound done, which is really cool and shows an actually form of the baby and not so alien like. Jon and I decided to find out what this baby was...one: so we could talk to Ty about a brother or a sister and two: I think we've had enough surprises for awhile. Don't get me wrong, I still think it's more fun to wait and see when that day comes and they put them on your belly to find out. But anyways...Ty is going to have a Baby Brother! He is so excited and so are we. They showed us the "pee-pee" and everything. It was pretty clear. Well we go back in 7 weeks for another ultrasound to keep a close eye on everything and I'm sure we'll have more phots then. Until then...keep us and our family in your prayers!

Our 1st Trip to the U.P. Together!

Daddy & Ty w/ Mackinac Bridge- Mommy & Ty @ the wedding

Ty posing w/ mommy's boquet- Sleeping on the ride home! - Joe & Monique Hirschenberger

At the Lake superior beach.- Lake Michigan & the river- Ty's 1st time @ the beach.

Last weekend we went to the U.P. to Jon's brothers wedding. Joe and Monique were married on Sept 1, 2007 in Marquette, MI. We had a lot of fun, Ty danced up a stormed at the wedding and hammed it up for the camera all night. Ty loved the Mackinac Bridge, or "the big long bridge" as he calls it. We stopped at a few scenic places on the way home, including a river that poured out into Lake Michigan. It was the first time Ty saw a beach and water that big, he was amazed, you could tell by the look on his face. It was a long busy weekend, but well worth all of it.
