this past weekend we werer supposed to go to MSU for the Green and White game , but it rained all day here so we went to Plan B, The Saginaw Childrens Museum. Perfect for a rainy day. There were lots of things to do even for Wyatt.

Easter 2009, (a week late)

Well, we finally had Easter a week late. I put Ty in bed with Jon Saturday morning and went out back and hid eggs in the yard since we missed the Easter Bunny's eggs the week before. He totally thought he came again. He had so much fun. Then we went to the Butterfly house with Jon's mom and spent the afternoon at her house finding Easter eggs, again.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone! Our Easter is kind of different this time around, just like everything else we do it seems like. We are spending Easter in the hospital pediatrics floor. Last Wednesday Ty had his appendix taken out. He had been sick for about 5 days with a fever, body aches and vomiting and diarrhea, who knew it was his appendix. We were sent straight to the Er and within 3 hours he was in surgery. The appendix had ruptured and the infection was all in his belly. There were a few minor complications afterwards where he couldn't stop vomiting so the put a tube down his nose to his belly for 2 days. Yesterday that came out and he just started getting to eat real food. He is slowly getting better everyday. We have to be here for at least 7 days for the IV antibiotics, so hopefully on Tues or Wed we'll be able to go home. Thank goodness for friends and family helping us through this and helping out with Wyatt. Poor baby doesn't know what is going on...Keep us in your prayers and we'll keep you updated.
