Surprise! Busy Weekend!

Well, this past weekend was very busy! I had to work all weekend and Jon had the boys...Our Anniversary was on Sunday and when I got home from work on Saturday Jon said I had an hour to get ready because we were going out to dinner somewhere very nice and the kids were going to my mom's. I was kind of crabby from working all day and had just planned on sitting around watching the movie I had rented and now I had to get ready. Well we stopped at a bar 1st because Jon said the the resturant was kind of pricy so we were going to stop and have an appetizer and a couple drinks before so we didn't spend so much there. Then after that he said he had to stop at his friends to help him move something (he's in a wheelchair so this is kind of a common request). I didn't want to go there either, I kept saying...if it's our night out why are we stopping here! Still kind of crabby:( Well we got to the door and it was locked...so I rang the doorbell. My nephew Cole answered the door...I was soooooooooooo confused! Then I heard "Surprise"...well, my 30th birthday is on Thursday and Jon had planned a wonderful surprise party for me! It was a lot of fun and I didn't know anything about it! I think it was the first time in 12 years that he's actually surprised me without me knowing anything! Thanks Honey!

And by the way, Ty knew all about it for a day and didn't say anything to me! Good Job Ty, who knew a 4 year old could keep a secret so well! this is the only photo I have, since I'm the picturetaker, but if I find some I'll share later!

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY TY!

Today is Ty's 4th birthday! We spent the day at Chuck e cheese with his 'girlfriend' Lily. It seems to be becoming a tradition. A lady I work with had bought Ty a t-shirt from there for his birthday with a pocket in it to hold his coins. Talk about excitement! He keeps asking me if he is 'big ' now and can I tell if he's gotten any bigger today?! He sure is growing up!

Ty's Bowling Party!

Today we had Ty's 4th birthday party at the bowling alley!

He was so excited and all the kids had a great time. His favorite gift was a matchbox car set.

It was so funny watching the little kids try and get the ball down the alley, a couple of them got stuck and we had to go down and get them. Tomorrow is Ty's actual birthday, 4 years ago seems like so long ago. He is getting so big and smart, it's scary. Here are some photos of the fun! Wyatt even tried to bowl!

Yeah Teeth! Yeah walking!

I swear we have been waiting a lifetime for Wyatt to get a tooth. Finally this week his first tooth broke through and I think there are about 3 more on their way. He is so crabby, won't eat and of course won't sleep as usual. Also the same day his tooth came in he decided that he was going to walk. He is very wobbly, but he can get to where he wants in no time. Ty and I have been sick this week with Strep and with Wyatt teething, I think Jon is losing his cool with all of us. I just hope he doesn't get sick too! Wyatt had his 1 year check up and he is exactly the same size Ty was at his 1 year check up. 28 inches and 18 pounds, slowly falling off the charts...just like brother. Well, that's all for now...

Happy Birthday Wyatt!

I can't believe my baby is already 1 years old. I doesn't seem like it's been a whole year since I had him. Because of the circumstances we canceled the big party and just had family over, which is actually a big party still. We had a cowboy theme and Wyatt loved his cake! Here are some photos of the fun!

Long Week!

Last Friday, January 16th, 2009. Jon's dad, Papa Dale, passed away in his sleep from what they believe was a massive heart attack, he was only 56 years old. They say there was nothing anyone could've done. We've spent a long week saying goodbye to a Dad, a father-in-law and a Papa and a friend. Please keep us in your thought and prayers, especially Jon, his brothers and his mom Joan. This is going to be a long road for all of us. We miss him so much and it's still kind of a shock. Ty is doing well and seems to understand that Papa is in heaven and we won't see him again, but if anyone has any advice I would gladly take it. Jon is having a hard time, which is only expected. He was not only his dad, but a good friend who's advice he always asked for. Hopefully we can keep it together for the kids and our family.

2009!

Happy New Year!

Well, we started out the new year at Med Express with Wyatt. He has and upper respiratory infection and has to use a nebulizer for a few weeks. I feel like someone is always sick or going through something new... There is never a dull moment in our lives! Hope everyone has an awesome 2009!
